In a faraway country, there was a carpenter. One day he made a puppet and gave it a name, Pinocchio. "Oh, I wish you were a real boy." The carpenter said to the puppet. At night, a kind fairy came and made his dream come true.

"Pino, can you play, scissor, paper, stone?" "Sure, I know how to play. I am good at it." Many times they played together, and Pinocchio always won their games. "Pino, I think you can go to school to study and make some nice friends from tomorrow on."

"Good morning Father, Now it is 7 o’clock in the morning I am going to school, bye! bye!" When Pinocchio finished his school, it was 4 o’clock in the afternoon. “Hello, father. I am home.”

Pinocchio made two friends, a sly fox and a wild cat in school. But, they sold him to a circus. The ringmaster treated him very badly that he fell down from high above and broke his arm. Pinocchio went home with one arm, but his father made a golden arm for him.

The next day, he went to school, and met a magician who invited him to go to the pleasure island. He looked for fun and ran away from school. The magician made him into a donkey and tried to tear his golden arm apart, but in vain. Pinocchio was jailed and regretted not listening to the old carpenter.

Just then, the fairy showed up and turned him to a real boy again. "Pino, what happen with you?" "I got lost when I went home from school, then I met a magician and he turned me into a donkey." Each time Pinocchio lied, his nose grew longer. "Oh, my nose! my nose is a foot long now." "Pino, you have to tell a truth, so your nose will go back to it's normal size." "Ok, I will tell truth from now on."

Finally, Pinocchio was free again. He went home happily to see his father. However, his neighbor told him that his father sailed a tiny raft to find him since he was missing.

Pinocchio was so sad that he rushed to the sea to look for his father. Suddenly, a big wave hit him and he passed out right away. When he woke up, he found himself inside a whale. Just then, he was so excited to see the old carpenter beside him. Pinocchio cried and said he was sorry. They hugged each other.

Luckily, the purple fairy showed up again and took them out of the whale. Pinocchio had learned his lesson. He finally became a really good boy.
